This is my first go as the primary caretaker of chickens. Being in the middle of the city I can't have roosters...sooo...I'm keeping my fingers crossed that these are both pullets. I am also unsure of the breed, I have my ideas but I won't post them because, well, I have no idea what I'm talking about 
They won't have names until I'm sure neither is male (easier this way for my 4 yr old daughter) so I'll refer to them as bird #1 and bird #2.

Bird Background:
By my best estimation they are between 6.5-7.5 weeks old. I think Bird #1 is slightly older than Bird #2, it has feathered 3-4 days more quickly and has always been slightly larger.
Here they are a few days after I picked them up, this photo is dated May 17th. I picked them up May 15th or May 16th. Both were banded as pullets. (photos will be below the captions)
