First time chicken keepers.

Hello,
Last summer, my husband, two children, dog and cat, and I moved from a home in the city out to the country. We have 4.3 acres including pasture, woods, a barn and chickens! My husband build a wonderful coop. Then we got week old chicks back in August. We have nine chickens in total. Eight from chicks including two Ameraucana, two Welsummers, two Buff Orpingtons, two Wyandottes, and a newly adopted rescue chicken. I'm so happy to have Back Yard Chickens a resource in this adventure!
