(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes. I just started. I have 18 chickens most of which are babies. 2 are about ready to lay.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
8 with 11 incoming next week.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have an Easter egger, and a buff Orpington. I also have two jersey giants, golden laced Wyandotte, and barred rocks. My incoming babies from my pet chicken including a dark Brahma rooster, an olive egger, a silkie egger, a frizzle cochin bantam, a speckled sussex, a buff laced polish and a white crested black polish, a black Sumatra, a golden cuckoo maran, a green queen, and a porcelain dāuccle bantam.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I love their little personalities. Theyāre so cute.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Horseback riding.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have four children three cats three dogs a horse and some fish in addition to the chickens.
