First time chicken owner

Hi Everyone!
I am new to backyardchickens, and to owning chickens. I have used this website to answer all of my previous questions so far, so i figured i might as well become a member. I have 4 silky laced wyandottes chicks, and 7 mixed-breed chicks in the incubator (due the 2nd of August). This is a whole new experience for me, so any advice is more than welcome!

Hi Sophie, did you mean "silver laced Wyandottes"? or do you have Wyandottes crossed with silkies? Glad you joined the BYC flock.
