In the Brooder
Now we can see all the beautiful little chicks you have now. Much better pictures for sure. Remember when you have them outside make sure they are staying warm. Baby chicks need to be under a heat lamp to keep them warm at 95 degrees for the first week and drops by 5 degrees each week. When your at 70 degrees for a week you can then turn off the heat lamp for them. I say this because in the one picture you have outside they are huddled in a corner all together. So they are scared or cold. Chicks run around and eat, sleep and poop all the time.
Thank you, it was 90 outside and they were only outside for about 10 minutes they spilt their water all over the pine bedding plus they had pooped while I was at work (obviously ha) so I had to completely clean out the brooder.
