Sounds like you have a broody hen and since you don't have any fertile eggs you should consider trying to break her. I have a Maran that is notoriously hard to break of her broodiness but if i don't she will sit until she withers away. I've found the best way to do this is to put her in a crate raised up from the ground (i use stacked wood pieces on the corners). I take out the tray and add a breathable netting so she can still walk around and sit but the air gets underneath her and cools off her abdomen. The hormones heat them up and in order to break them it needs to be cooled. It usually takes about 3 - 5 days for my girl but its in her best interest. She wasn't in great shape (pale comb, boney, bad feathers) the first time this happened before i figured out what was happening and how to break her.
