You'll be much happier with a coop in a solid building than a tractor, I think.

Hate to break it to you, but that chicken wire is not raccoon proof, they can chew right thru it. Replace it with 1/2" hardware cloth....or at least add some 14ga welded wire(1x2 or 2x4) over the chicken wire.
