Hi! I’ve had ducks in the past, but have never hatched any eggs. I bought a twelve egg incubator and ordered six BYM eggs online (Etsy!), as I didn’t want to do too much for my first time. The breeds are black Swedish, Cayuga, and khaki Campbell. I set them on the fifth, and all are developing nicely except for one which I disposed of.
I let the eggs sit pointed end down for a full day before setting them. I also labeled them by letters instead of numbers, as I think it will add a little fun thinking of names that start with said letter. Q unfortunately is the one that did not make it. The rest of the letters are F, E, L, W and N.
