So I have about a 15 month old silkie who has had a tough go. I ended up getting her at a farm when she was little ... Well for the last month we were dealing with lice and mites got that taken care of and than had to take her to a vet for bacterial Infection and yeast issues so we have been giving her vitamin b complex and antibiotics the vet gave me for her and she is doing well, but today my dad went out there to lock her and her sister up and found that she laid her first egg but it looks deformed . Idk if she needs calcium or something else ... She does weigh 1.7lbs and gaining weight but she was really sick a month ago. I'll attach pics of her and the egg. With this being her first egg not sure if there is something I need to do more for :)

The egg is hard no soft spots in it or anything .

Are you offering your hen oyster shells? I have had a couple of eggs exactly like that one, but barely ever. Any farm store will sell crushed oyster shells.
