Thank you guy gor all the imput I guess I should be more concerned about the larger predators in my naborhood because I havent found anyone who has had a major problem with mosquitos. Ill just do what I can to limit the mosquito population

Welcome to BYC! You don't happen to be in Alaska, do you? The mosquito (for a brief time in the summer) is the state bird. Good luck with your flock.

Hopefully your mosquitos are smalle in NC. In Alaska, they can carry your chickens off before draining them dry. )
