First Time for Egg Hatching

hello! im kinda new to the whole chicken thing, and for Christmas, my mom is gonna get me and my brother an incubator. and im not sure how to really go about doing that..any tips?
i have australorps i wanna try to hatch eggs for, RIRs, Barred Rocks, Buff Orps, White Orps, Bantams, cochins, and a EE
i really dont wanna mess this up when the time comes..so anything about it would be GREAT!
