First-time for meat birds

Thanks for the great replies.

Perhaps I will start with 30 rather than 50.

Does anyone allow them to free range?

The wheels are kind of a pain because in order for them to be of any use, they have to be really tight to the ground (otherwise you have to lift the darn thing REALLY high for the wheels to touch,) but when you put them tight to the ground, it lifts the tractor up off the ground on unlevel ground, allowing a space for predators- although I haven't had any problems as of yet. Sliding a dolly underneath for moves would work perfectly. Here are a couple more pics. I can't believe how much bigger my birds are since these pics were taken only a few weeks ago!
