First time hatch-question ?

YAY, expecting eggs in the mail today. Incubator is ready, temperature steady, humidity where it should be, but I have a question about air circulation.
My incubator is a Hova Bator 1602N still-air with two small red vent plugs on top. Do I need to keep one or both open for air circulation ?

yes you should at least open one of them for proper ventilation.

Leave one open for days 1-18 and then take the other one out for lockdown...

make sure to add extra water for lockdown also.

Be sure to let the eggs rest before putting them in the incubator. You'll hurt hatch rate if you put them in immediately!

Thanks for the quick replies, I opened one vent and yes, I will let the eggs sit for 24 hrs.
