Good morning all!

Last night, my first Lavender Orpington chick hatched RIGHT before my kids had to go to bed! Talk about perfect timing! I have had chickens for a few years now but this is my first go at hatching eggs, so it's very exciting! Does it ever get old? I still get excited watching calves and goals drop after seeing it for years! Ahhhhh. Just a happy chicken mama right now!

Congratulations on your first hatch. Cant wait to see pictures of the little ones. I bet the kids had a hard time going to bed with all the excitement of the chicks hatching.
