I figured I killed them, multiple times. I had two Farm Innovators 4250 incubators (one after the other) to see if they would come to temp unassisted in my finished basement. I'm sure there were hot and cold spots despite the fan. Returned and switch one for the other, after candling one day the new one wouldn't come to temp at all (after hours of waiting). I put a heating pad under the incubator while I rushed to make the Pink Monster (picture attached). With 1.5 inch foam and a PID controller, it handles the temp perfectly. But was it to late....no apparently they are better at living than that.

Last night went down to the basement to check on the chicks and found some nice pips. Three hours later, one had zipped and decided to leave the egg. This morning there are three chicks with more pips and a new half zip. :) Eggcited
