I dont know, I dont candle until day 7 as the embryos are very delicate at this stage. It could have been or been a blood spot from the hen laying.Okay, so I put my eggs in the bator yesterday and I just candled one. I saw a small pinkish/reddish dot a little smaller than my pinky nail. Is it possible that it's the chick? It also moved around when the egg was moved.....

Should I see blood rings at a little less than 48 hours? I'm gonna try not to candle anyomore until day 7.
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
