First Time Hatching Anyone With Me??

That's what I would do. I don't know why, but I have 2 non-developing that I'm just leaving in there. I think I can't bear to accept it until AFTER I have some live chicks. [we candled them all on Sunday and those 2 were obvious] I'm planning to take them outside and open them up for 'science' education. Nothing smells, so I'm leaving them be until hatch is over. We're in lockdown now. [6 I couldn't tell- and this morning I saw one of those eggs wiggling like crazy! yay.]

If you're absolutely positive that all your eggs were fresh to begin with, the odds are small that one of them went that bad that fast. You're still taking a chance though, because an exploding rotten egg will contaminate the rest of the hatch.
I waited till dark last night and candled all 39 of mine right in the incubator. I removed the two lighter-shelled ones that were definite clears and set the four I suspect to be infertile all together in the far right row. If on day 10 they still look like they did last night they're getting removed.

Good luck, hope you have a great hatch! Post pics!

hmmm.

just read something that made me question
leaving the fan going in the incubator during the lockdown.

i have a hovabator 1602N that i added a fan from
incubator warehouse to on day 7, it really helped
getting the temperatures stabilized

i really don't want to take it out for lockdown,
does anyone know if i'm supposed to?

i don't have another incubator to use specifically for lockdown

FIRST Time here on day 18 as of 10am this morning. I have 29 mixed eggs in a little Giant. no fan so from what I read in this post my temps have been too low... Does that mean they will hatch later?

I should have came on here sooner to check on more peoples input vs one person locally. I didn't even know how to candle them so I have no clue how many will hatch. I have been manually turning every day 2-3 times a day.

How do you make those cups should I put them in those before 10 this am?

what temperature were they at?

between99.5 - 100.5 average. (sometimes at night they dipped lower (97-98) since it gets very cold in our house)

I have the same incubator. My temps have been about 100-102 but I do have dips in temps due to heating with a woodstove. All my eggs seem fine. I would think that you should be fine. Maybe they will hatch a little later.
