Got my fist pip last night,after tons of incubator proublems im suprised anyone is hatching....

ugh. having a hard time
regulating the humidity

had it up to 73, opened both vents
went down to fifty something overnight
added water....

i'm shooting for 60-65, right?

Hang in there, latebloomer! I'm not at lockdown yet, but I'm rooting for you! How are you raising your humidity without opening the bator? Do you have sponges under a vent hole that you can drip water onto?

you may need to come all the way up to hold my hand

i'm using a straw into the vent hole
pulling water up into the straw
holding that in place with my finger
and letting it out into the resevoir

Ha! It's way too cold up in your neck of the woods for me! I'll be happy to hold your hand electronically, though. LOL
Sounds like what I'm doing. I have a small medical syringe with a short length of tubing, then I add a straw to the end of that to get water into my reservoirs. I have a sponge in mine, too, just in case. But I haven't needed it yet as I'm not in lockdown. Are all your trays filled now? And is your humidity holding good for you?
