First time hatching chicks

Ok day 7, I candled them. I didn’t take pics of a few of the really obvious ones. There are a couple clear so those are obviously out and a few just normal veins I missed pics of. But here’s the rest! Some are obviously ok veins, but there are a couple I’m confused by… number 2 and I think it was 5, Looks like a blood ring forming but I can also see an eye? Did it die just recently? 2 is also a bit ‘sloshy’ if that makes sense.

3 is a blood ring right?

Then the last one also confuses me, it’s a bigger dark shape than any of the others. I didn’t get the greatest pic of it.

That’s smart, I have marans eggs on order for my next hatch, it’s my original preorder I placed and will be my last hatch of the season. But I only have one incubator and the eggs all come at once so I’ll have to incubate them all together. I’ve heard it’s better to incubate marans separately though.

Came home from work to this little one hatching a day early! It’s day 20, three of my eggs have pipped and this one has already hatched! It’s a mosaic!

What do you guys think is happening here? I think this egg had a saddled air sac when I last candled. This is along the side of the egg.

5 have hatched so far, two mosaics, an Icelandic, a svart hona and another bielefelder (think it’s a roo).

My preorder has shipped, so I’ll finally be getting my marans eggs this week! Also crele legbars, more mosaics, and Swedish flower hens.

Ended up hatching 6 from my last hatch
