Hiya!
I've just ordered 6 emu eggs from Western Australia (I'm on the other side of the country) and now I'm wondering what I'm going to do when they get here.
I would love some advice on temp and humidity because so far I've gathered that it should be 97.5F and 30-40% but the first time I tried to hatch chicken eggs I did so with 70% humidity until I learnt better so I figure I shall ask BEFORE I put them in the incubator.
So here are my Questions before I get started:
- How long should I let them sit before putting them in the incubator?
- What should I have my humidity at?
- What day should I pop them into lock-down (and what humidity should they be at for it)?
I have more Questions that I'll pop up when I think of them and anyone else with questions on the breed can pop them up here too (so we can all help each other
)
I'll pop up some pics when they get here of them as well as the packaging.
Cheers,
Colourful.
