Hello, so I'm totally new to this group. I got my first 11 girls in March of 2016. No rooster yet. They are awesome and produce 9-11 eggs daily. About 4 weeks ago one of my Black Stars went broody. She was stealing eggs from the other girls so I decided to purchase hatching eggs to put under her. One by one she destroyed them and I am now down to 1 eggs that she is sitting on with this being Day 22. I'm sure this one will get destroyed also so here is my question.... if I purchase another dozen fertile eggs and put her by herself in the brooder house, will she stay broody and try to hatch again? I just went out and she is still very broody it seems. Even yesterday when I had 2 eggs left, I went out to the brooder to check on her and she had left the 2 eggs and went into the gen house and started sitting on fresh unfertilized eggs. (I had left brooder door open In Case she wanted to free range a little. Won't do that again!). So I removed the unfertilized eggs and moved the 2 fertilized back under her. She destroyed one over night! Any advise would help and sorry for LONG post!!!

I would not use her again to try to sit on eggs if she is destroying them all.
Did you even candle the eggs to make sure they were fertile/growing?

Yes I candles on day 11. Had 5 that looked good, 2 were hard to tell so I removed all non developing eggs and just left the 7. Each day since she has destroyed them. Horrible smell, no sign of any chick. Here is one of the eggs I found on day 18!

I wonder if the eggs are "exploding" rather than the hen destroying them. :sick
Those pictures plus the offensive odor = rotten eggs. They may have had small cracks in the shell when you purchased them, but somehow bacteria got in.
If you haven't already done so, I would cleanse that nest box thoroughly to remove the escaped bacteria.

Sorry your first attempt at hatching did not have a happy result.

I know this post is several days old, but I would not give her more eggs.
I would give her a bath! Seriously, she's got that egg stuff on her belly now.
Use cool water and if she still wants to sit, give her frozen water bottles in the nest.
After 3 weeks, she's probably worn out and hungry. Being broody takes a lot out of a hen! And it's hot out there!
