Hi all, it's my first time hatching eggs with a broody. She's a silkie, we gave her 2 of her own eggs and 1 of another hen. She's in a flock with one other hen, a rooster, and 4 nine week old pullets. She's been setting on them for one day, is there anything I need to do for her to prepare besides putting food and water in the coop? I'm planning to leave her with the flock.
P.s. yes she went broody under the brooder, it's not on.
