Hi-

There are 9 eggs in my LG (still air- no fan), and we're on day 20. Last night I noticed a little hole in one egg. Today there's lots of zipping and then resting going on in the one egg. I realize it's hard work and may take a while. None of the other eggs have anything going on at this point. Both vents are open at the top of the incubator, temp and humidity are pretty consistant @ 102 and 59-60%. How do I know that the air quality is okay? Is it true that I should wait until all chicks have hatched before moving them to the brooder? Anything else I should be doing? I have not opened the incubator; this is harder than I thought it would be! Thanks.

I don't know the answer but just wanted to say good luck! I'm in lockdown too and waiting for any sign of life in there. It is hard! Sure you'll have chicks soon.

keep us posted we're cheering for you. good luck

Thanks! Good luck to you too, Susanne. What day are you on? Hopefully I'll have some pics to post soon- these are mixed eggs from my flock. The chick is still working on hatching, we're getting tired just watching her/him!
