I am hatching my first set of eggs. They are getting mailed out tomorrow and I should have them by the end of the week. I have read and reread directions a million times, I just want to get yout take on what to do.
Set up the incubator and get the temperature accurate days before receiveing the eggs, right?
Once I receive the eggs in the mail, let them sit for 12 hours to settle before placing them in the bator and then make sure they are placed in big side up, right?
Can anyone reccommend a hygrometer to use?
I had the incubator on for a little bit and then I heard this loud sound that made me think it was going to blow up! lol, is this normal? I have a full harvest circulated air incubator with egg turner. Also, it says that it makes it easy to fill the resevoir with water if needed. My butt! How am I supposed to fill that thing under the egg turner, under the mesh, with eggs in it? It does not seem so easy.
Thank you for your help!
