First time hatching

Help it's my first time hatching quail eggs

I set them in my incubator on 8th March so am now on day 18 feeling anxious

Quail eggs have an incubation period of 16 days. I like to give them until day 21 incase there are late bloomers. Good luck on your hatch!

Hi everyone one of my eggs started pipping this morn at 7 am it's still chipping away shall I give it a little help? There's also another one nearly out been like this around 3 hours....I had two successfully hatch this afternoon but they was out in around half an hour help plz

No, let it be. Some chicks take longer than others to hatch, and it can take them anywhere from 15 minutes to 24 hours to get the job done. If its making progress, its fine, let it get out on its own.

Hi everyone iv woken up too two more hatched one that started yesterday has made ni more progress so I think that iv lost that one

I have one that started 7 pm last nite not made much progress since 12 pm last six hours still alive thou... its seems the membrane is quite thick under the shell different to how the others have hatched help

these were the first two out user yesterday there now eating and fluffy in the brooder
