First time incubating advice please

I started 23 fertile eggs from my neighbors on the 8th at 630 at night. I candled my eggs this morning and this is what I see. Is this normal? I don't see veins? I think I'm just impatient but I've also never done this before.

That one looks infertile to me. I usually remove my infertile ones on day 7 or day 10 just to be super sure

Thank you. I know her eggs are fertile she incubates her eggs as well but I've never done it so I wasn't sure what to look for besides online. I'll wait til day 10.

Keep us updated when you find out if it is indeed infertile. Some eggs can be infertile while others may not. Are they all from the same hen?

No she has many hens and roosters

I had a hard time seeing the veins as well. Try moving the light to a different part of the egg. Just a thought.

Then it’s possible that egg is not fertilized. Having a rooster with hens isn’t an automatic 100% always fertile eggs. But majority could be. But as you said wait til Day 10. If you never see veins then it was never fertilized
