First time incubating Coturnix eggs! Set today! pg 2

Saddina's took up to 23 days to hatch, but her temps were very low, and I believe she only got 2 eggs to hatch.

3 Hatched, one was weak and hatched covered in poo, and didn't last the night. The other 2 are going strong. 3 others piped but couldn't get out, when I checked them they were just in there too tight, 1 of the 2 survivors was an assisted hatch, at that point it was get him out or he wouldn't make it thru. Hubby just installed a wafer thermomostat thingy, and we're using 4 eggs from our hens before we order more shipped eggs.

Well I couldn't set them this morning because we had some very bad storms come through and lost power. I'm hoping I can set them tonight.

Coturnix eggs should fit in the regular cups. If you don't plan on raising quail, I wouldn't waste the money on the quail turners.

ETA: Good luck on your hatch!
