first time incubating my own eggs!!!

Hi im Jane, me and my partner julian have about 50 hens, up at our stabes thay supply our small b&b with eggs nicely, we have decided to hatch some bantems in a friends incubator so have put 6 leghorns in 6 buff laced wyandottes 6 mottled pekins and julian wanted some blue orpingtons, thay have all gone in in the last 2 days , this morning as i turned them i noticed that oe of the blue orpingtons has a hirline crack!! should i just discard this egg or shall try the candle waxing ? looking forward to this experiance with anticipation

I've used candle wax on a few the last time I incubated some and they all hatched!! Good Luck!!

ok wax on will let you all know what happens, it one of my mixed leghorn bantem eggs not as i first thorght (a blue orpington) fingers and toes crossed!!
