I’ve got 2 small incubators going with mostly OE(FBCM Roo over EE hens) eggs going. For funsies we threw in a few white leghorn eggs and Cemani eggs(both under the same roo).

We just hit day 7, and 16 of the 18 are developing well. Sadly 2 of the 3 Cemani eggs were empty.

This is our first time hatching, and I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas of what the leghorn or Cemani mixes could look like? Also I just really wanted to document our first hatch 😂😬

With such contrasting colors such as the white leghorn and ayam cemani, you can't really tell how the chicks will end up colored as. I think they will be black with white streaks on their little bodies. Maybe a little like Mottled Javas. Some might be one solid color, but I'm sure there will be variations in the patterns. I haven't seen these two breeds mixed together, so don't quote me on it, but it's just what I think. Make a new post when they hatch so we can see these beautiful babies!

Oh I may have worded it weird inadvertently! I’m sorry! I have a FBCM roo over EE hens, a Cemani hen, and a white leghorn hen. A friend of mine is incubating Cemani/leghorn mixes though, so I’ll try to snag some pictures lol

This is so exciting for you! We're also on our first hatch with an incubator, but have hatched with a broody Pekin for three years running. We're on day 14 and are looking forward to pips! We have only put 6 of our own Pekin eggs in it, to give it a try. As far as we can see, 5 are developing!

That's amazing! Congrats and I hope all of your chicks hatch and grow up to be wonderful!
