First time incubating

Ok I want to start to hatch my own eggs ..Have questions I want to buy the 1588 Genesis incubator with the 1611 egg turner is this a good one ? I have read that you will need to make sure the eggs are in the right position? Do they have to rest for any lenght of time? And can still buy hatching eggs from the hatcheries , even if they are not selling babies

....Any comments would be great

Keep an eye on temperatures when you order eggs.. if it is 98 degrees where you live wait till fall or spring to order

some people let it rest for 24 hours before set it, me? I give it rest for some hours.

I don't know about brand since I use home made bator.

yes pointy end always down unless you do the laying flat and turning method... I always use the egg carton method and lean from side to side.
