First time incubating....

Did you put the whole unit inside the incubator? If you have a digital with a probe, it needs to go inside to read humidity correctly. Just thought I would check since some folks don't realize this.

You could also put some pieces of sponges in the water, or a paper towel with one end in, like a wick. That should bring it up as well.
