First time incubator - Lots of questions

Just keep in mind 50% will be male, have a plan for them, or space to separate the bulk of the males from the pullets until you decide which one(s) you're keeping.
Thank you!
Yes, I already have 10 boys that I still haven’t dealt with out of the chicks from my 7 broodies this year.
I guess I need to hurry up and deal with them to free up my “bachelor pen”.😅
Just a side note: Since you mentioned you've only hatched using broodies I wanted to add, don't forget you'll have to deal with integration when you hatch chicks in an incubator. Your flock won't immediately accept them like they do when a pullet/hen raises chicks in the flock.
Yes, I have bought/raised/integrated multiple batches of chicks into my flock. And my alpha rooster is super great with the young’ns, and never lets the older brats pick on them too much.
I feel pretty confident with integration, I had just been worried about messing something up with the actual incubator!

Yes of course!
His name is Mr. Darcy. He is either EE or Americana because every pullet I’ve gotten from him has laid blue eggs, (regardless of the brown egg it hatched from)!

Those pictures are from May.
He’s molting now, so looking pretty shabby, but I still think he’s handsome!
