First time incubator questions.

Ok egg turner installed last night, and I let the temp stabilize 24 hrs before putting the eggs in. I just put 12 eggs in there at 4 pm my time. My temps have stayed between 102 and 104 with humidity around 33 and 34%. I'm now using warm water instead of cold. I also put a couple flat rocks I sterilized yesterday in boiling water then the oven in it. I'm really hopefull about this batch. If they hatch both boys will get their pullets to raise, and I will get some meat birds, and more pullets to make me more eggs. If I can figure this silly thing out I will be happy. Thanks for all the advice everyone. I'm going to watch these like a hawk still but they'll be hands off until candle day. Really hope I do everything right this time. As they say 3rd times the charm. Hopefully it is for me. Good luck to everyone.

Here's hoping you have a great hatch!!!

Hi this is my first time incubating and im having a little trouble I think. It's day 22 no piping but I did have a bad egg,I took the bad egg out and cleaned my incubator and put a new nonslip mat down. When all was clean I quickly placed my eggs back in the incubator which quickly regained temp. But my worry is now that there is no piping from any ov the eggs left and when I woke up today there was gunk on both of the eggs ready to hatch but no cracks or piping. What could this be?

Yes I can fled them they are all both really dark and you can see the air bag.? I don't really know what they should look like at this stage

Yes I did candle them but i'm not sure what there supposed to look like at this stage really. They are really dark and can only see the air sack

Do you see any movement, look at the border between the air sac and the dark mass.

What temp did you run the incubator at?

Do you hear any sounds? (yep, hold it up to your ear).

Then put them back in the incubator and wait. It is not sounding good though.

Yes I candler them* I can see the air sack and the rest is dark am I supposed to be able to see anything else?

It's set automatic at 38°c and I cannot hear anything but I saw a black thing move inside one egg, I'm guessing that's the chick but that was yesterday. Do you know what that gunk could be as there are no cracks in my eggs
