First time incubator questions.

One of my incubating eggs the chick has pipped underneath egg instead of on top..will it be ok

I hate when that happens. I would move the egg so the head is up, kind of and she is not upside down coming out the bottom. I am guessing the air sac slipped to the side for that to happen.. Good luck If the egg is setting upright in a carton you may consider just laying the egg on its side on the "floor" of the incubator.

I do remember candling one that air cell was to the side

He's a pretty mellow goofball. Don't get me wrong, he can get hyper but he's pretty mellow. If i bring an animal to him and tell him it's mine he tries as hard as an almost 2 yr old 95lb lab can to be gentle. He was pretty gentle with the chicks i got from TSC last year. He just wanted to smell them and lick them all the time lol. When i had to bring Skye in he was pretty gentle with her too, but she was 9 months old, and poor chicken had a bad neck wound. Jake was just a bit pushy wanting to smell her all the time. She took it in stride like she does everything lol. I would love for her to go broody. She's the smallest of my Brahmas. We have a pregnant cat right now and he's really gentle with her. He let's her do things he won't let any other cat do to him lol. He's El Prego's protector lol.

I have 2 little giants,one has a and fan, the,temp gage is off from 1 to 3 degrees.I don't trust the humidinty.I put one theromenter under right front glass,i have 5 in one now just to check1 in each corner one in middle and one at middle front.The right front reads 100,but the other 3 are 3 to 4 degrees

off.The front one in front of heaters goes from 102 or higher.That scared me so bad I just used the one under right front window.They have hatched fairly good but I have helped most of them out

Ive had quite a few do that.I figured it was from the other chicks running around playing golf.The next time I hear them chirping in middle of night I will get up

*SQUEAL!!* Congrats! How many eggs did you start with? How many hatched? And did you have both of your incubators going at the same time (one with a fan and 1 without?)? If so, was the success ratio the same or what was the ratio per Bator? Mine just went into lockdown this morning but I can't stop looking inside. As IF by some fluke of nature one will start to hatch out early and I will miss it or something! lol
