First time intro

Hi y'all My name is Jeanne. My fella and I got 8 chickies from rural king back in May/June. We built a nifty chicken tractor. We have 2 Wyandottes, 2 Amberlinks, a hen and roo barred rock, a hen and roo Rhode island reds.

(this was their first day in new coop.)

Glad you're here Jeanne!

If you haven't yet, please make your chickens a FIRST AID KIT for any issues that would arise.
It's definitely better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it.

Also, make sure your coop(s) have a proper amount of VENTILATION. Your chickens will absolutely thank you for it!

PS. Eight is never enough. Check your chicken math!

For the most part, I think we've done pretty well by them. I never knew they'd be so fun! We let them out daily to roam the yard, scratch, stretch, play, etc. They've become our entertainment, our topic of conversations... everyone talks about their chickens a lot, right????

Oh sweetie... no worries... here there ARE no crazy chicken people. We are just chicken people and everyone without chickens are crazy!
