So it's been an up and down ride with my little turken eggs. Three out of the 6 I got where fertile. Due to an unfortunate accedent I lost one eggs at about 9 days. The other that got cracked was doing fine til about 4 days ago. After an eggtopsy I found that the chick had a defect. His internal organs were on the outside of his body. So now I'm going on lockdown this afternoon for my one lonely turken. I hope he makes it! I will be going on lockdown #2 in about 5 days with my ducks. Thankfully, I will have my hubby helping to distract me by helping me build our mini frdge incubator. I'm thinking about calling it either "The Druish Princess" or "Son-of-a-Bator". what do you think? Wish me and my little turken luck! I'm naming him "Lucky"!
