Hello. I have been searching the Internet for help in this and am hoping someone here may be able to answer my question. I have five eggs, two of which look like they are developing inside. The other three look like there is progress slowly starting. I am just needing to know if the eggs in question are indeed developing or if there is something else going on. I candled them last night and when I did so again today all of a sudden it looked like there was this little tiny body forming. Only thing is I see no veins. If there is development why no veins? The dark body shown in the picture moves to the top when I roll the egg around. It seems to always want to "float" at the top. Like I said this little body was not visible last night, but now is. Is this a little one growing or something else? Thank you for any help I may receive.

If it does not look like the ones you know are veining and forming, I'd toss it before it blows. The dark spot could be a start of an embryo that died and is starting to breakdown. Of course, if for some reason you just can't see veins like a darker shell, just give it a few more days provided there is no smell.

Thank you. The shells are speckled and makes it difficult to really get a good view. Nothing has begun to smell yet. I think as you said I will give it a couple of days. It looks like whatever is in there seems to be getting bigger, however the color is not really solid, so I'm guessing this could be yolk scattered about? In all honesty actually that is kind of what it looks like now in all of the eggs. I have a feeling they may not be alive, but since this is my first time ever having eggs I really couldn't say. I know it is one of those things where you would have to really be able to see the eggs, but again I will give them a couple of days. Thank you again for your reply.
