First time mother to 6 Silkies and 4 sizzles. Glad to find BYC

I'm having a ball raising 9 girls and 3 boys. So far at least! I brought them home at a week old and they are now 6 months. As they grew and showed their stuff... they got named, one after another. My hens are Ms. Beasley, Brandy,Daisy,Penelope,Hannah,Dora,Jezabel and Goldilocks. My roos are Stedman, Stanley and Raider. Raider is the boss! Oh by the way...Stanley and Goldilocks are Serena's.

You mean Seramas - my friend has two serama hens but she insists the breed is called
salamis. They look like furry soccer balls and are real characters - they boss the dog around and kick him out of his dog bed. Hers are silkie feathered, but it's just flat feathers doesn't look like silkie feathers at all.

There is a very good American Serama thread on here - you could put that in the search box and it will pop up. Same for Silky Thread.
