This is my first time incubating eggs. I bought 22 and had them shipped. On day 18 I had 10 remaining that looked good and we’re moving. I locked down and haven’t opened it since. Today is day 21. I haven’t heard any cheeping and there are no pips. I’m getting a tad worried. They are Brahma eggs which I’ve heard could take longer, and I’ve also heard a lower temp could cause a delay but I’ve had 3 thermometers in the incubator and none of them ever agreed with the incubator so it could’ve been a tad low (definitely never high). Guess I’m just looking for some reassurance as I’m sitting here at home staring at these eggs 😂😂

Don't worry it will be ok. If the temperature has been low it may take a few more days so don't get upset about that. What about your humidity? Is that ok? Should be 70% for lockdown. I've had chicks hatch at day 24 before, it just depends. Hold tight, don't freak out. Have a glass of wine and relax. You are doing good. Things will happen when it's time! :hugs

humidity for lockdown has been steady around 65-70%. Before lockdown it stayed in the 40s. Someone told me that my ihatch app actually counts the days differently though so they are saying I’m on day 20, not 21. So hopefully we get some action tomorrow!

Hopefully some pips have happened or about to happen. I’ve played some momma hen and chick noises for eggs nearing hatch or pipped. Sometimes the eggs chirp back or rock in response. Look up YouTube videos, but you’ll need to weed through the ones with humans talking, traffic noises, or other louder barnyard animals, but there are dome good ones on there.

Good luck and enjoy the chicks!!
