First time on

I've been using the knowledge of all of you for a few months, My husband and I built a chicken coup and run and ordered chickens from the hatchery in Sept. They are huge now and I have discovered that we have TOO many roosters. I need to get rid of 2 of them because it looks like I have 5 of the 35 total. I read that we only need 1 per 12 hens.......5 is way too many for 30. It looked like we only had 1 rooster for a while......but time has shown us how many. How do I get someone to buy or take two dominique roosters? suggestions on what to do would be great.

I tried Craigslist and a shout out to friends who might take them when I ended up with one rooster in the bunch.
You may start here though and get some takers.

As far as the too many rooster dilemma, many people advertise them for free on their local Craigslist.
Here locally, I use our free community internet bulletin board and have had great success getting rid of my extra boys(I've even actually sold a few of them instead of giving them away).
