First time ordering by mail...questions

I just got my first chicks shipped this past Thursday. I didn’t have to contact my Post Office the hatchery gave them my info. they called bright and early the morning they arrived (6 am the day after hatch). I had their momma heating pad going and just dipped their beaks as I placed them in the brooder. They quickly caught on and are very healthy and active. They are in and out of the heat ( I actually only have it on medium because high seemed to be too warm for them to be under it for very long. They can now be found on top of and under it throughout the day. At night they all sleep under it. They are set up in our garage and it still gets cool at night here. I do have to have a couple of my meat chickens that seem to get confused. They cry because everyone else is under the heat and they can’t figure out where everyone went.

I also should mention I didn’t add anything to their water. They are 3 days old and getting their wing feathers.
