First time outside!

My four week old buff orpingtons and wyandottes enjoying their first moment outside! But only for a minute while we clean their indoor hutch! It's still cold in north Georgia.

They can tolerate a half hour outside on a cool day with no wind. Next day, increase the time they're outside. If they begin to get cold, they'll huddle together, then bring them in.

Take them outside every day, increasing the time, and soon they'll be acclimated to the cold outdoors, and then they can go live in their coop with no heat!

It's that easy.
