First time owner of Bantoms.

Hi,I have always wanted chickens so I am now the proud owner of three Pekin Bantoms.I have named them Mabel,Maud and Mildred.They are about 8months old ? very tame and used to dogs,I have a very interested Dachshund, that is why I decided to get them the lady that was selling them is moving and is just 10 mins away from me so I could call on her for any help.They have settled in well I have had them for just under a week and eggs most days.I am worming them,so I am sure I will have lots of question and look forward to all your post.

I have Pekins/Cochins too. They are a very friendly bird. My rooster loves to meet me at the driveway gate and waits for me to pick him up so he can ride on the console up to the garage. Then he gets out and runs out of the garage and starts crowing Goofy, fun chickens

i have a silver laced Cochin,i thought it was a hen,but every day i get 6 eggs not 7,i have a rooster,already,all are same age,but this little guy who's name is earl,well i see it stomping my one hen a lot,its wobbles are pretty big an so is the comb,but it doesn't seem to have the long tail,it has some short wispy ones its not tight like my Maggie's does any one know how else to tell i never see him crow,
