Greetings all you lucky chicken owners!! My husband Brian and I just began our chicken owner adventure 6 months ago. We have 2 Americana's and 2 - no, 1 Bardock chicken. We just lost the other Bardock to a predator. Very sad day! Anyways, we are enjoying the entertainment they give us. The Americana's are laying now, but our Bardock is not. She is 6.5 years old and we thought she should be producing. Any thoughts?

First welcome to Backyard Chickens the 6.5 year old may be done laying for her life or may need a pit more protein or time ie.. scrambled eggs, oatmeal or yogurt mixed in

Or calcium...but I'm betting she is just on the older side and not laying...or not laying as much and jsut hasn't started laying since you have had her...not sure.
