We bought 3 female chickens in March, mostly just for pets, and we were looking forward to fresh eggs. We will eventually get more, but we figured 3 was a good start, especially because we didn't know what we were doing. Unfortunately, we lost one at about a month old, but the other two are doing great! I was wondering if anyone could tell me their breed? There were several different breeds of chicken where we got them, and by the time we arrived, the chicks were mixed up, and no longer in their containers. Because of this, the farmers selling them couldn't tell us the breed.

The one on the left looks like an Australorp to me. It’s nice that the other one is already taking food from your hand. Good luck with your new flock! I hope it continues to be a rewarding experience for you.
