First time she's ever done this - KiKi did the siamese YOWL

KiKi is extremely quiet for a siamese. She has a little meow that we can barely hear.
The house is very quiet and she just yowled big time.
I went to check on her and she looks like she's just waking up.
Maybe she yowled in her sleep?

Poor KiKi. I feel so bad for her when I think about what she went thru in the months before we got her. To be abandoned in a box with a litter of kittens to feed. She did a good job of caring for them, but it cost her since she was down to skin and bones.
I know she must have had a dog that she loved in her life at some point, because she adores Jax.
I do wonder if she's finally found her siamese voice.

I have a 20ish year old part siamese cat. omg, he doesn't shut up.

He's cranky, and old now, but he hasn't lost his voice in ANY way.

I love Siamese cats! A few of them do not have the typical Siamese throaty voices but just the quiet mew. My Bambi was the only cat that Siamese talk all the time.

Oh I absolutely adore the yowl. I had a siamese when is was really young. He was the most interesting cat with the most interesting habits. I can still hear his yowl in my head. Maybe Kiki has just bounced back enough to start singing for you.
