Crowing
My lovely hen was killed. I had six of her most recent eggs in the refrigerator and decided to hatch them. I wasn't happy with my DIY set up, so I bought an incubator at TSC. They eggs have to lay on their sides, there are no little cups for them. I thought you had to make sure the pointy end stayed down, but obviously that is not possible with this set up. I am turning them, but are there going to be problems because they have to lay on their sides?
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
