first time with ducks

So.. didnt expect sister to buy 4 ducklings and really have no waterer for them.. BUT, I did put a small bowl in there...so...instead of drinking, of course.. they lay in it...all....four of them..
So.
tips? tricks? suggestions? Thank you

I have found that if it is big enough to get into...they will, You might try turning another smaller bowl upside down in a shallow bowl of water, so that they can only get to the water around the edge...

I guess I was thinking like putting a glass/ ceramic bowl Upside Down (round part up) in a pie plate- so I dont think it would float...

But If your ducks are like mine, they would just see a floating bowl as a fun ride and fight over who goes first
