I put 8 guinea eggs in the bator on June 27. I have been turning them faithfully, checking the temps and humidity levels, doing everything that I did for the banty eggs I hatched out 2 months ago. When I candled these eggs though, I don't see an embryo or veins. All I can see is a large dark mass and that's only in six of them. Is this the yolk? The other two are very pale with some little spot looking things. Do I have duds? They don't stink or anything.

you should see some kind of movement in them. might have to watch them for 30 seconds. you might have duds but i would think you could see some kind of veins.
