first time with turkey eggs.

I am new to turkey but know about chickens. I just ran across some eggs.

Is there any thing I need to do different so that they will be ok when hatched. Thanks for your responses.

Have you put them in the incubator already?

Yes. I know they hatch at 28 days I think I have the days marked on the calendar. Every body always told me they are hard to keep alive that's what I was worried about. I had someone tell me to have a couple of baby chicks in there to show them were the food and water is. They told me turkeys ant smart so I have to be carful with food dishes and all. do I have to have baby chicks in there or can I show them myself. I'm trying to get a couple of eggs to get them to hatch around the same time, but it not looking good, I will have chicks around 2 weeks old when the turkeys hatch. I am afraid the chicks will be to big.

Ok I got one to hatch minutes ago. Woohoo... Even thou we lost power for 10 hrs. Lost five eggs. Hope the other thre hatch
